I am thinking of buying a synology ds112j NAS system and need to know if my wd tv will be able to read my movies off of it. It says for its specs its network protocols are as follows: CIFS, AFP, NFS, FTP, WebDAV, iSCSI, Telnet, SSH, SNMP, and VPN (PPTP, OpenVPN). Will the wd tv live be able to read files from any of these?
Yes. The WDTV Live SMP supports SMP/CIFS and NFS.
