I got MyCloud set up and my itunes and TV in same network see it and able to play media files.
I know how WD sync works but I have question about WD Access?
I installed it in my mac and I can see WD access but it only shows about WD Access and Quit on the menu.
What does this do?

I am dealing with the same question since yesterday. First I tried installing WD Access, a window opened but it couldn’t find any device, I got a message telling me that the WD device should be in the same network as my computer (wich was), so I uninstalled it. Then I installed wd sync and after that, I installed again WD Access, that time I didn’t see that window posing, but as you said It shows “About WD Access” on the WD icon but it seems that there is not functionality.

We know what is written in the wd webpage support. It should do all that. But have you ever installed the app?
Is there an App that I can access my WD device remotely? Upload files, access to the WD Cloud dashboard even if I am not in the same network as my WD device?
