What is the difference between "My Cloud" and "Network Attached Storage (NAS)" devices? Why should I choose on type over the other?

Why would I choose to use a NAS vs a My Cloud device? What are the differences between each type of device? Comparing one to the other would be helpful. Just don’t understand their differences. Thanks
