What is I/O Problem?

Treid to store files from my laptop to my WD Passport, but only got a message about an “I/O Failure”.

Does anybody have experience with this? How should i solve it?

Usually that’s referring to cable problem.  You should be using a cable shorter than 18".  If you are try another cable and maybe another usb port.
