What is a metathumb and may I delete them? I seem to have hundreds of them and together they take up a lot of space.
.metathumbs are “thumbnails” or “poster” images for your movies and tv shows.
sure, you can delete them if you want … but you’ll lose the thumbnails and poster images for all your media
if you already have jpg (jpeg) thumbnails for all your media … in that case, yes delete the metathumbs
