What HDD Does My Passport 4TB Use?

Why does this drive exist:

But WD does not have a 4TB Laptop HDD even though these 2 hard drives are both 2.5"

WD Blue Mobile HDD only goes to 2TB :frowning:

My guess is because the drives larger than 2T are too “thick” to fit in most laptops.
