What drives support 512e?

Hi itpro44, welcome to the Community. Currently all External USB/Advanced format drives use the 512e Emulation.

are you saying that all Western Digital USB drives are advanced format drives?

Hi again, just to be clear, all USB external hard drives that have an internal advanced format drive have the 512e interface, but we cannot guarantee the model for the internal hard drive. 

What kind of hard drive is inside a Western Digital external product?
