I notice there is a search button the on the remote (right next to eject at the bottom), but I’ve never been able to get it to work. You would think by pressing it you would be able to search file names, or go to a paticular spot in a video, but that’s not the case. Can someone please explain what the search button is used for and how to get it to work? I would really appreciate it.

You can only search for media files if you have the media library turned on.
In addition, the search button only works for LOCAL STORAGE, not stuff on the network.
Just my two cents, I find the search useless. I’ve never used it.
