Western Digital Scorpio Black WD5000BPKT not recognised in Device Manager

I installed a new Western Digital Scorpio Black WD5000BPKT in my Dell Latitude D620 and cloned my previous disk to it using Acronis True Image (free trial version). The system appears to work OK, but if I now try to install Acronis True Image WD edition, it says there is no Western Digital disk installed. Device Manager under disk drives simply reports “Disk Drive” with no further identification, though listing Hardware IDs appears to show the WD details. If I click on Update driver, it reports that the best driver is already installed. Please advise - should I be obtaining a different driver (from where) or is some other software update required before Acronis will recognise the drive?

Try testing the drive with Data Lifeguard Diagnostics, see if the software will show the info for the drive
