My Western Digital My Passport is showing as Initio Default Controller in Windows 7 all of a sudden. I tried all the suggestions in the various boards but none seem to work.
My laptop cannot detect the WD My Passport at all. Keeps showing Initio Default Controller.
Can someone help? the HDD has lot of data which I cannot loose…
When did this behavior start to happen? Was your unit suddenly disconnected or did it fall to the ground? Did your computer lose power during an update?
