Werid sound Caviar Black

Hi,

Since a couple of days my WD Caviar Black 2 TB has started to make a repetitive, clicking sound, every few seconds,  as if it’s writing away data though that’s not the case.

I only have the drive for 4 months. It is not my system drive and I only use it for storage. There’s currently 20 Gb on it.

The noise is still there even when the drive is completely idle.

I put a video online => https://vimeo.com/121362214

In the video the hard drive is still attached to the drive bay, but the sound is still there when I remove the drive bay

I have a very quiet pc and this sound is the only one I hear. It’s very irritating and driving me mad. It sounds actually worse when the drive is in the case because it seems to give a loud vibration.

I used diagnostic tools (HD Tune and WD tool itself) to check for errors but none were found.

Is this sound normal?  Or is the disk faulty?

Thanks a lot!
