WebDAV Access to my DL-2100-NAS failed

Hello,

I have a problem with the WebDAV Access to my DL-2100-NAS (newest Firmware 2.30.165).

I configured the WebDAV Access as described in WD knowledge base under
http://support.wdc.com/knowledgebase/answer.aspx?ID=16497

[My Cloud OS 3: Configure WebDAV]

If I warnt to access a share on the DL2100 via WebDAV from my iPad or from my windows PC in my Home-Network with the following URL: https://192.168.188.53:4443/test
or
http://192.168.188.53:8080/test
I get the following error message in the Browser"forbidden you don’t have permission to Access /test ob this server "
or if I use a special WebDAV-Client in iOS, then I get the following error message “error failure 403”

Please, help me, I have no idea, what the problem is.

Did you remember to enable WebDAV for each share, as well as globally?

Yes, I have enabled WebDAV-access at global Network-settings and also at the share

Could I set anything for WebDAV at the User-settings?

Have you managed to get WebDAB to work from outside the local network (the Internet)? I can get it to work from within the LAN, but from outside the LAN Windows 10 is asking me to select a personal certificate. Picking either of the two not picking a certificate don’t work. I am forwarding ports 4443 and 8080 as shown on the WD KB …

Nah, haven’t tried that. I just enabled it long enough to test internally within my home network. It’d take a lot of work for me to test it via the internet because of our corporate firewalls and GPO restrictions.
