Web interface crashes and drive not accessible after internal backup has run

My WDMyCloudEX2100 has only recently started doing this, so I’m guessing a problem with latest firmware.

At some point, during an internal backup (using the built in App), the Ex2100 isn’t accessible via the webgui any more. Also, no drives are accessible via Windows explorer.

I can still access the NAS via putty, which I then use to reboot the device. When it restarts, the backup shows as “failed”.

Any thoughts on what might be going on, or whether I can revert to previous firmware to see if this is the issue?
