WDTV won't connect to My Book - "no storage present"

Hi,

I just just purchased a WD TV HD media player (WDAVP00BP) and a My Book Essential 1TB hard drive.

My Book works well with PC and have backed up file to the hard drive.  I ejected the hard drive from the PC correctly.  I then tried to connect to WD TV unit and it is not recognised with the message “no storage present” displayed on TV screen.  Can anyone help?

Upgraded with the proper firmware Gen 1 and all good now
