WDTV stopped showing all movie files from a folder

Hi,

I have a WDTV Live media player. It has a WD My Book 1TB connected to it which has all my movies and photos.

It shows all the folders. However, in folders it does not show all media files. I observed that it only showed media files whose name starting with J and onwards. 

Any idea why this is happening?

When I connect to that hard drive via WDTV Media server on my PC, it shows all the files.

Please help.

Mine is doing the same after the firmware update to 1.07.18

It only shows certain movies, does not list sub folders either. Master Reset did not resolve, removed and re-added share drive to no avail.

Usathar, plug the disk into your PC and delete the hidden .wd-tv folder.
