I unplugged my HD to put some new content on it and now the WDTV will not read it. When I plug it in it says Connecting to the USB storage… and then nothing, I have factory reset with no change, unplugged both without success. PLease help.

Maybe try clearing / rebuilding the Media Library ?
Setup > System > Media Library > On > “OK” > Clear Media Library > “OK”
Or on your PC run a chkdsk on the HDD to make sure it did’nt get corrupted.
