I have 2 WD live TV units and I have recently connected them both to a router via Lan cables and plugged our external HD directly into the router via USB. Router is a netgear DGND3300. I’m able to get the video files and play them but I appear to have lost the metafiles as I can’t get any pictures or contents on the movies. Also when I’m in Video mode I’m unable to access the options button on the remote. I must have set them up incorrectly so any assistance would be appreciated.
You need to add the shares to your media library.
Can you explain how this is done. the video files and the metafiles are in the same folder.
