My experience, YMMV UK version.
I took my WD TV live on holiday, but it wouldnāt connect to the TV in apartment ;(, I tried resetting it , still no joy. It turned out to be a dodgy HDMI cable.
Came, home, saw the update firmware and updated to 2.03.20
Hangs during most mkv files, just like the old days. frequent reboots.
Downgraded back to 2.01.86 and all is fine again.

i upgraded fw to the latest versionā¦
But if i connect to the network (w-lan or with ethernet) the player will not play my mkv filesā¦
Also Youtube doesnt work for me.

It works fine if there is no internet connection.
