You’re welcome. I’m pleased with the results, unit gets no warmer than with the fan and it’s now silent.
I’ve recently gone to an Android TV Box for my media streaming need (technology has advanced). My Live Hub is now strictly a NAS drive, always online. So, it runs even cooler in this role and most important for me, it’s quiet.
Decoding and playing movies is when the processor throws the heat. Device runs warmer in that use either with its original fan or with this modification…about the same.
