WDTV Live External HD Sharing Issue

Hi all,
I recently bought a WD TV and I have a problem  sharing an External HD WD Elements 1.5 TB.

I followed the various procedures, and in fact i’ve no problem sharing the folders of internal HD.

When I share folders of external HD, i can access it from other PC, but WDTV doesn’t see it.

I set the permissions for everyone and also for sharing option i set full access to everyone.

Using the media server, I have trouble seeing the external hard drive.

Some of you had same problem?

If you’re using Media Server, then the external folder(s) need to be added to your Windows Media library.

Hi tony,

thanks, i’m trying to use the sharing, and wdtv can see all the folder of internal hd but not the external hd.
