WDTV Live and some LG's TVs

Hi.

I have WD TV Live connected to a TV LG 42LH5000 , now the choice autoframerate it always goes to 720p@60

The problem in some sections of the EDID. Here’s EDID  :

As we see in 2 sections the different information:

  1. Native/preferred timing… 1920x1080p at 60Hz

  2. CE video identifiers (VICs) - timing/formats supported
        1280 x  720p at  60Hz - HDTV (16:9, 1:1) [Native]

In the early firmware device  took the information from section Native/preferred timing 

Now, it seems it takes from the section CE video identifiers (VICs) - timing/formats supported 

 Whether it is possible to make so that the information again reads from section Native/preferred timing ?

I opened a case with LG about the conflicting EDID information.   They said they forwarded it to engineering, I never heard back from them.   And now that TV is no longer being supported after only 8 months.

Anyway, to answer your question, the only way is to roll back the firmware.

I contacted with LG about this problem and haven’t received any solve.
I hope that WD can resolve this in firmware.
