Wdtv live 1.03.40beta

 I buy my WDTV last Dezember. All works fine with the firmware 1.02.21 . The only thing  I missed was DVD-Menu. Now I´ve updated to  1.03.40 Beta. The DVD-Menu works great. But two things don´t  work now like in 1.02.21.

First: The resolution resets to 720p every time I put on the WDTV.

Second: I connected the WDTV to my LG 42 LG 5000 TV with HDMI. The TV is connected to my Dolby Digital Receiver with an optical wire. With 1.03.40 Beta i don´t get an AC3 5.1 signal. With 1.02.21 it works. I hope WD will fix this in the official firm.

The HDMI issues (like you describe) started happening in the 1.03.x line of firmware.    WD is still trying to sort it out;  they’ve issues THREE betas since then trying to address these issues.
