Hey, on my iMac (10.5.8) I am using an external hard drive. The last time I accessed it and disconnected it I noticed that the computer was running extremely slow. It turns out that WDSmartWare continues to run after the is disconnected. Every time I manually kill the process I comes back immediately. It is extremely frustrating as I can’t work with the machine at this point. Any ideas?
