I have two external HDD from WD. The older is WD Elements and the second My Passport Ultra. I am using WDsmartware, BackupManager, etc. softwares to backup my files. When I plugin the MyPassportUltra I Get this message: Unable to cast COM object of type ‘Sytem._ComObject’ to interface type ‘WDBackupService.WDBackupManager’. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID ‘{6BC00436-F259-4699-A361-091D65133178’ failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
Is WDSmartware out of support - is it compatible with W11? Thank you for help!
