Hello dear community members i hope you all having wonderful day and doing well ,
I have frustrating problem with my cloud home drive I want to work as server for plex remotely it works wonderful in Lan connection but It does not work outside my network I have tried and saw multiple solutions but no use .
1* I have tried setting the ip of the cloud drive to static ip in dhcp reservations settings.
2* I tried port forwarding the ip of it with multiple different ports but no use either .
3* I have checked my router if it supports the upnp and it support it cuz I can use plex with my pc as server and it works fine (huwaie 5g cpe h122 -373) .
4* powering on and off the cloud drive restarting router .
I don’t know what else I can do or try please help
I can’t use the full potential of the product.
There no app or Web app that have settings to check or set to like enable upnp or ftp or remote settings for wd my cloud home like older product of it its frustrating as hell
Please wd support team provide the following
1-Latest plex updates to the product my cloud home.
2- setting or an web app that use user interface that can change the local to direct setting or enabling some functionality or functions as of now your web app is useless .
