When I’m watching a tv series the wdhd box will not save the progress when the device is switched off. If I watch a couple of episodes one after another when each episode has finished and the screen returns to the episode selection menu a round black circle appears on each episode that has been viewed. When the device is put in standby mode and then turned back on all of these black circles disappear leaving me with no clue on where I finished off last time. Any ideas? I have tried inserting a flash usb 16gb stick into one of the usb slots but that didn’t fix the problem. I have a 2tb wd live cloud hard drive wirelessly connected to it also.
IIRC, You have to be using the Media Library to save view status.
