Hello,

I just installed 2 x brand new WD pruple 6TB WDCWD60PURZ85ZUFY1 drives, and the SMART attribute 3 spin up time is zero on both drives…

Why is this so ?

The prior WD purple 1 TB drive reported SMART attributes correctly…

anybody know why the SMART attribute 3 spin up time is reported as zero (0) ? seems like a bug, or lack of SQA, or possibly done intentionally, and if the later what are WD trying to hide ??
