Both purchased at a major USA retailer.

WD SSD DASHBOARD does not recognize either of these drives as Western Digital.

Western Digital online product registration does not recognize
the serial numbers for these drives.

Cannot find any info on these models at wd.com.
Are these 3D?

The DOM dates are suspicious.
Are these counterfeit?

WD acknowledges problems with registering “some” drives.
Got mine registered by calling 866-726-3475.
Takes WD a few days to send acknowledgement.

No resolution on dashboard yet.
Looking for a clean copy of Dashboard 1.4.4.5.
Will advise.
