Hello, I have a WD My Book. I use it to store back up security video. This is the 2nd time that our back up hard drive has ‘failed’. I did an uninstall through the command prompt and try to reinstall the software for the drive, but it still failed. The Hard Drive will not show up when plugged into the PC. The light on the Hard Drive is on. Any ideas? The hard drive it self is only a few months old.
