I bought a WDBBGB0080HBK (https://support.wdc.com/product.aspx?ID=136&lang=en) and attched it to my QNAP NAS’s USB port and formatted it as a single NTFS volume.
As such, I’m not using any WD utilities. All of the User Manual is of no use to me, as it describes using the drive and utilities in Windows.
Q1. Does the WDBBGB0080HBK have a staus light that tells me if the unit is powered on? or if there is data transfer taking place?
Q2. Does the WDBBGB0080HBK have a power on/off button?
