My external disk is not recognized by my pc. I have an Asus with win7. The disk never boots. Ibuy it in Best Buy. The light flashing but the disk doesnt read
Check if the drive appears on disk management
try a different cable or computer
i kinda have the same problem, mine i have had about over a year and when i was changing my anime from that external hard drive to another, it stopped working, it wouldnt do anything after a lil while trying to changing drives so i restarted my laptop and now i cant even find it anywhere, it doent even make the sound that u hear when u hook stuff up using usb. but yet the light is still on but it is blinking alot faster then normal (TT-TT)
