i formatted my drive hoping this would fix the problem. but still it runs slow copying or opening a file i moved into it. i tried DLG quick test, extended test and write zeroes but all failed and too many bad sectors were detected. i then tried the wd quick drive format but still it cant solve the issue. it also makes my windows explorer crash. what should i do???
It sounds like the drive is bad.If it’s still in warranty contactWD.
