I have 2 of the exact same drives WD6000BLHX-01V7BV0.
The specifications everywhere says that they are 6Gbps.
After warranty is expired I noticed that they operate at 3Gbps only.
I tried different controllers - Intel X79 and Marvell 9128.
Different disk information utilities shows same frustrating values of “Maximum rate - 3Gbps” and “Current rate - 3Gbps”.
What’s wrong with them? Should they be this way? How can I achieve 6Gbps that are promised by all the stores that have them?
