I have Acer Aspire A315-42-R48X NX.HF9ER.019 with wd5000lpcx-21vhat0 installed.
The drive sometimes makes periodic noise (seems like turning on and off every second or two).
And another problem: Windows 10 does not wake up after going to sleep.
I believe both problems are of the same nature and can be fixed by updating HDD firmware.
I’ve found articles about similar problems on similar WD drives, and there were firmware updates available.
But I could not find firmware update for my HDD model.
What can be done in my case?
