Hello. I recently bought a new PC with Windows 7 and for some reason, when I have the external HD plugged in and leave it on for a while, my PC does not respond. Everything basically freezes. Once I ctrl+alt+del and bring up the task manager, which takes a while to load, everything starts to work again. I noticed the compatibility only goes up to Vista. Is there a way to upgrade the HD to use with Windows 7 without buying a new one compatible with Windows 7? If anyone has any info on this it would be much appreciated.
