WD3200AAKS failing short test and extended test in Data Lifeguard

i bought my drive 9 months ago and then since a few days ago…when i was gaming it started to hang and my pc won’t respond to any commands like ctrl+alt+del…the only thing i can do is a force restart.

now the question is should i send my drive back for warranty as it is still in warranty period

Yeah, if it’s failing both tests, it’s dust and needs to be replaced.
