I am beginning to think that the western digital hard drives are the most inferior drives ever made. So far I have heard on the message boards and forums that my particular model have nothing but the same problems causing data lose and eventual system failure. I am going to contact the BBB, and have them post on the web anyone having a problem with the above mentioned hard disk should contact them also with their own concerns, and possibly get a recall for this inferior product… Thanks for nothing
Hi there, not to be blunt but most of us in here would tell you that you should always have a backup, no matter who makes the drive or what the company is to promise, since anything can happen…

Well newsflash for you i have a backup but it doesn’t recognize the hard disk
If you have a backup then you don’t need that hard drive any longer, get another one and load the backup into it…
That’s the point of having a backup…
