WD30EFRX HD for external drive?

Hi,
I have a 3TB WD30EFRX Red HD which I’d like to put in an enclosure and use for an external drive.

The WD30 is made for NAS applications but I’ve sold off my NASA and would like to reuse the drive itself.

Can this work? any compatability problems?

I am not sure yet. I haven’t picked out an enclosure.
I was wondering if this is worth pursuing or should I just sell off the WD30EFRX drive and
get a more standard drive.

Is there a compatability issue with using the drive in a non-NAS enclosure?
