WD2go without Java mess?

Anyway to use WD2g0 without installing all the java bloat?  Just the very second i installed it, MSE popped up with this threat:

If we are stuck with it fine, but for the future,  please consider notebook and tablet machines that have limited resources. Thanks.

Java is a technology widely used. We understand your concern with using this on Mobile devices, which is why we have Apps for those devices. The feature allowing you to mount drives cannot be done in pure HTML/Javascript, so such a drive mounting feature  will always require some sort of plug in.
