WD2GO Windows Phone issue

Couldn’t find any answer at the forum.

Hey guys,

I have some issue with my Nokia Lumia 920 (which is Windows Phone 8) and the WD2GO app.

After successful pairing with the code I can’t get into my WD server.

When I click on the drive it says “connecting to the device” and it’s instantly close.

Previously I was using phone with Android and it worked perfect.

I’m using WD MyNetN900C

I’ll appreciate any help.

Ok, this is weird.

I have checked on iPhone and it’s working. Also checked on Android and it’s working fine.

So, I did factory reset on my phone (windows phone 8) installed wd2go app. and guess what ? It’s not working…

So my question is:

Is someone using this wd application on windows phone 8 system without any issues ?

I thought maybe my phone is a piece of **bleep** so I borrowed some other Nokia phone on windows 8 mobile system and same issue, application just closing instantly.

So, basicly, is it working on windows phone ?

I really don’t know what to do with this piece of $%^&&#

Unfortunately not.

But my case was redirected to my own country support (Poland).

It is now solving by second level support, and I’m waiting for their solution.

Works for me on my lumia 520.  But I’m in the US.  Not sure what’s going wrong on your phone.  Installing it is so simple and you even reset everything so sorry, don’t know how to help.

I have good news ! My problem is solved !

Yesterday a new version of WD2GO app appeared at Windows Store and after update it’s now working !

This is called support !!!
