Hello,

I’ve just bought a new WD My Book Live, and configured the external access to my disk.

I’m now accessing it from work, but I’m wondering about the security. Is anyone in my work network, able to identify/log any of the files I’m working on? or is  the connection encrypted? Is it safe to use wd2go in a free wifi spot?

The connection from the My Book Live to your computer is encrypted, but anyone that has access to your computer can access your My Book files.
