… pretty much pointless when there is an app like ES FIle Explorer out there…

It reads/writes my WD Hub… It reads/writes my WD MyBook…   It copies/moves any and all files across my network willy-nilly as easy as pie

If you are frustrated with the limitations of WD2Go, you might want to give it a try.

And it works remotely?

As in I can use it from far away via the internet?  yuup  ;-)

(At least that’s what the documentation says… I haven’t had opportunity to test that )
