I have been trying to setup remote access to MBL via my ipad.

The MBL is enabled for remote access and I have successfully completed the email and password registration process.

I have requested an activation code to pair my Ipad. and installed the WD2go app. I load the app and choose to add WD device, I’m requested to enter the activation code. After entry I can see MBL drive. I then click to navigate to view shares and there is where it fails to work. All I get is the loading circle. I have left it trying to load for some time but nothing is loaded.

WD photos does work but I have to use a different activation code.

Web access also works, however when I navigate to the shares folders, I’m asked to enter a Network drive code…

I’m hoping someone can give help.

Hi, try disabling any router firewall that might be active, also check if you have the latest My Book Live firmware.

Thanks for the reply Ichigo, updated MBL a few days ago (MyBookLive  02.43.03-022 : Core F/W), disabled router firerwall…Ipad still will not load files. Ive now paired my My Sony XPERIA which works perfectly. Your thoughts?

Hi, I’m haring THE Same problems on iPad. WD photos works fine. Wdmycloud doesn’t. On my android Phone all works fine 2…very frustrating and no info found…
