Microsoft Update for Windows 10 ran without permission and the wd2500aajs slave internal drive has not worked correctly since then. The device event log showed that the device was Migrated, Configured and Started. I tried uninstalling a couple of the most recent Win 10 updates and after that, the drive was not accessible at all.
Previously it showed up as wd2500aajs-00rya0. Now device manager shows it as an unknown device but says the status is “working properly”. Is there anything I can do do restore the driver(s) without re-initializing the drive and losing the data?
