I connected my SATA internal hard drive, but it is not recognized as a hard drive in Device Manager and does not appear in Disk Management. It’s recognized in BIOS, but Device Manager has it under “Other devices.”
Hi, have you tried a different SATA cable and a different SATA port on your computer? Are you able to connect on a different computer or using a SATA to USB adapter?
Same result on a couple other computers. I don’t have a SATA to USB, but I’m not going to buy one just to test my drive.
