wd20earx stanby while watching movie

Hello,

I have 3 hd on my pc. Few days ago i have buyed a wd20earx 2Tb sata 3 and it is good.

Unfortunally I have a problem. The HD goes standby while I am watching a movie stored on it. After 10-30 minutes (it is appair random time) the movie stop playback, hd lights up, the dishes are starting to turn (I can hear the noise) and the movie starts its playback again. This appens about 1-4 times for each movie stored in it.

Off couse this is very bad for me. I use the hd only to store my movies.

I have no problem at all with both my others HD and the same pc (they are not a WD hd).

Any solutions ?

Motherboard is asrock pro3-m with latest firmware.

How can I upgrade the hd firmare ?

Did you check in advanced power management and make sure the drive is set to never sleep?
