I’ve had my wd20ears drive for a bit over a year, I’ve been having file problems and couldn’t open many files on the drive, hdtune says I have 200 bad sectors. I booted up the pc this moring and most of the files work again somehow. Should I still rma this drive? (yes it still says 200 bad sectors) and I’ve heard people recieive a worse drive than before sometimes with rma or it gets problems shortly after? what can I do to stop this
Try running a test with DLG, if that fails replace it.
