Hi all,
Thought I’d be clever and build a system with an Onkyo 609 av receiver connecting all devices with HDMI 1.4 leads, thereby utilising the ethernet capability therein…only device that doesn’t receive internet is the main one I want to! Been on to customer services who inform me that it’s not capable at the moment but maybe in the future…ho hum!
All cables are run and hidden and there is no chance of running and ethernet cable to the unit…any ideas would be greatly appreciated…cheers guys!
HDMI 1.4 doesn’t necessarily mean that all the features are included. The only way to get network to your box is WiFi or cabled.
