WD1600i032

Hello, I have a (very) old WD1600i032 external drive. Its connected to external power and to a Win10 laptop via the USB cable but Windows do not recognize the drive. Any ideas?

Thank you,

D.

Hi. I have this same issue. Brandon P did you have any luck? Get any support? I have old family movies stored on this drive and just discovered that Windows cannot find it any more.

Are there new drivers or anything that I can do so I can at least get my media off this WD1600i032 external drive?

Brandon P - my wd 1600i032 which I believe is a 160 gb external drive from a long time ago…powers up with green light around the big circle button, howwever my PC does not recognize. I connected to the original PC (which runs windows vista) and it does not show up in device manager or anwyhere. The drive powers on when I plug it in but the circle button or powering up/ down my PC does nothing. Did you have any luck with yours?
