I recently purchased a WD easystore 14TB HDD from Bestbuy & after running the extended test ( full sector scan ) with WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics software the HDD is currently sitting idle at 56°C.
It seems awfully hot? My room’s ambient temp is only 74F / 23.3C I’m unable to find an official spec sheet for this specific External hard drive stating acceptable operating temperature range. Please advise. Thanks!
